At first glance, creating an eBook might seem like a lot of work. In some ways, it is. But, by breaking your eBook down into little chunks, you can really minimize that initial perception.

In fact, creating your first eBook doesn’t have to be a challenge if you don’t make it out to be that way.

I must confess, when I first thought about creating an eBook, the thought didn’t exactly thrill me. I thought about the work that would probably be involved, and merely the length of the eBook discouraged me.

But then I talked to a few entrepreneurs about how I felt, and the advice I got was really uplifting. I also started picturing the overall task of writing an eBook in another light. You can’t deny the earning potential of eBooks, especially if you’re a freelance writer or blogger intent on making a living with your content. Just look at Pat Flynn’s eBook success. Pat originally worked a 9 to 5 job before he was laid off. Then, he pursued income through a blog he had created to help readers pass a LEED exam. However, while launching an eBook can be lucrative, creating an eBook takes lots of work. There are also many stages to eBook production. I mentioned a few times in earlier posts that I planned to launch an eBook on making a living through your writing career. While working on the eBook, I did a search for eBook tips on some of the blogs that I read regularly. Little did I know that I would be over flooded with very useful information on the subject.
