Blog in Construction!

As you probably know, Cash Campfire is in a little disarray right now. I’ve been testing various free wordpress themes, though haven’t been 100% completely satisfied with the end results.

After moving this blog from blogger.com to its own hosting, I’ve had high hopes for Cash Campfire. However, none of the templates I’ve tested captured everything that I envisioned for this blog. Therefore, I’ve decided to either start my own theme from scratch or hire a professional to make one specifically for this blog.

The theme will provide:

  • Better functionality
  • Better navigation
  • Superior design
  • More features

Having a new theme made may take a few days, but it will be well worth the effort. Until then, please stand by. Once the theme is completely finished and all the plugins are in place, this blog will be updated on a daily basis.

Things to look forward to:

  • Daily posts on money making tactics
  • Weekly events, which will be discussed in more detail later
  • More detailed updates on my progress while making money from home
  • Fully updated forums for readers to interact with one another
  • Contests, where prizes will be involved
  • Free monthly giveaways
  • Group projects to maximize your earning potential
  • Fully functional contact form
  • Detailed guides on what I’m doing to make money at home presently
  • First publication of my eBook “Jump Start Your Online Writing Career in 31 Days” (title may change, but the topic will remain the same)

One by one, the above additions will be added to Cash Campfire once the theme is in place. I estimate that everything will be completed by April 1, 2010.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at christina@cashcampfire.com. If you have suggestions, don’t hesitate to post a comment.

Thanks for your understanding and I’ll try to get everything straightened out as fast as possible!

Goals and Achievements – January 1, 2010

Happy New Years everyone! This is the first Goals and Achievements post since the blog server got switched. I’m going to start only doing monthly Goals and Achievement posts from now on, mainly because it’s less stressful for me to achieve my goals in a monthly time frame rather than a weekly one.

On a side note, I’m still going to display my weekly goals in each monthly Goals and Achievement post. The weekly goals will build up to my overall goals for the month. In this way, I hope upcoming Goals and Achievements will be more easy to read and better put together.

Goals and Achievements – November 30, 2009

Well, I was disappointed to discover that my eHow earnings had slowed down a bit and I only managed to earn $86.03 for this month. Still though, my earnings this month compared to last month’s $30.64 was pretty good, considering the huge increase. The good thing is, I didn’t get any more eHow articles deleted.

I also regret to mention that I didn’t get many eHow articles written or edited for this month, since I placed most of my attention on increasing my Neobux earnings (as well as other PTC website earnings). As a result, I managed to reach the payout to several PTC websites.

I’ve been a member of HKBuzz for less than a month and I’ve already received my first payment! This makes the third payment today from PTC (Paid to Click) websites. As you can probably tell, I’m very happy at this point.

Goals and Achievements – November 16, 2009

My earnings last week were pretty amazing. As you know, I had bought the eBook How to Earn Passive Income on eHow.com: Maximize Your Online Earnings a few weeks ago and incorporated the ideas into my eHow articles. What a difference! The article that was written 18 days ago has now earned $29.63 compared to the $15.70 last week and has received 3,528 views compared to the 1,815 views last week. Most of my new articles written has made over a dollar and my previous edited articles are experiencing an increase in earnings as well. Altogether this month, I have earned $63.57 and the month isn’t even over yet! That’s more than half the earnings of last month. In fact, I completed one of my goals for this month by earning over $60! I’m now averaging about 4 dollars a day, so I’ll probably end up with over 120 bucks by the end of the month.

As for the writing that was done last week, I had too much on my plate to write much for eHow. This week I’m going to focus on writing only 1 eHow article a day and editing 3 eHow articles a day. I’m on my way to perfecting each eHow article by the end of the month! Once that’s done, I’m expecting my earnings to triple!

On a side note, I got 5 old eHow articles deleted, but I was expecting those articles to go since they were mainly common sense. I also didn’t get to editing them yet, so that’s good.

Goals for This Month

  • Have a total of at least 150 eHow articles (113 out of 150 so far)
  • Earn at least $60.00 on eHow ($63 out of $60)
  • Completely finish editing previous eHow articles according to the eBook’s guidelines (32 out of 60 so far)
  • Reach my payout for at least 5 Paid to Click (PTC) websites (1 out of 5 so far)
  • Earn at least $10.00 on MyLot ($1.45 out of $10 so far)
  • Have at least 300 Twitter followers (159 out of 300 so far)

Goals for This Week

Writing Goals

  • eHow: Write at least 7 articles plus the 11 articles that wasn’t done last week (2.5 articles a day) and promote new articles in the appropriate eHow groups, with Xomba, with Redgage, and with networking websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter). Edit at least 21 out of 30 previous articles according to the eBook’s guidelines (3 article edits a day).
  • Associated Content: Work on this website only if you have time.
  • Helium: Work on this website only if you have time.
  • MyLot: Spend at least 1 hour participating in discussions and do 3 tasks.

Networking Goals

  • Xomba: Promote at least 21 eHow articles (3 articles a day) by writing Xomblurbs.
  • RedGage: Promote at least 14 articles (2 articles a day) by writing bookmarks on RedGage.
  • Twitter: Expand my Twitter network by following 100 more people

Survey Goals

Paid to Click (PTC) Goals

Last Week’s Accomplishments

  • I didn’t write much last week for eHow, so I’m going to try to write more this week.
  • I didn’t make anything new from Xomba, but I’m going to keep up my Xomblurbs and continue to write for the website.
  • Three more orders were shipped on Amazon Affiliates, so I should see some increase in my earnings once the items are delivered.
  • I didn’t qualify for most of the surveys I tried to do, but I did manage to get my GlobalTestMarket surveys done. Hopefully I do better this week.
  • I earned a little less last week than I did the previous week on Clixsense, totaling $1.06. My overall balance on Clixsense is $16.65. Hopefully I earn more this week. I actually managed to get the payout minimum on Neobux, ($2.00) but I’m going to wait to receive my payment until the end of the month. I also bought 20 referrals on Neobux two days ago, so I’ve noticed a slight increase in earnings so far. All but 7 referrals are inactive. My Neobux balance is now at $2.29. My Clicksia cash balance is now at $0.92, so I earned exactly 10 cents last week. This means I should be able to receive my earnings by the end of this week. I’m a little more than half way to cashing out on LinkGrand as well ($3.02 so far). My WordLinx balance is at $1.37, so I have a long way to go before I earn $5 so that I can cash out.

Goals and Achievements – November 9, 2009

Well, last week I definitely noticed a change since I bought that ebook How to Earn Passive Income on eHow.com: Maximize Your Online Earnings and incorporated the ideas in my articles. Firstly, I noticed that one of my articles that I had written 9 days ago already has 1,815 views and $15.70. That’s close to what I got last month with all my articles, never mind 1 article! Secondly, there’s a huge boost in earnings from my other articles. Most of the new ones I’ve written are almost up to a dollar, rather than just a few cents like before. Thirdly, my previous articles that I had edited are now earning way more than before! As a result, my overall earnings are skyrocketing. Here’s a screenshot:

As you can probably tell, I’m pleasantly surprised! I’ve almost passed what I earned last month and it’s only been 9 days! I’m now earning about 4 dollars a day (at the beginning of the week, I was earning 3 bucks a day) with all my articles. These earnings will most likely increase once the search engines pick previous and new articles up. Even before my article earnings increase even more, I’ll still earn $112 by the end of the month by getting 4 bucks a day! $112 is a definite, but just think about how much I’ll be earning once my articles get picked up from search engines! No doubt, I’m excited! If you plan to get serious with eHow at all, I suggest reading this eBook!

As you can tell, I’ve had a great week! I managed to get all my writing tasks done. The only goals I didn’t accomplish were some of the surveys and MyLot. I’m happy that I was able to finish the big tasks though – since the writing portion is the most important right now.

Goals for This Month

  • Have a total of at least 250 eHow articles (112 out of 250 so far)
  • Earn at least $60.00 on eHow ($26 out of $60 so far)
  • Completely finish editing previous eHow articles according to the eBook’s guidelines (25 out of 60 so far)
  • Reach my payout for at least 5 Paid to Click (PTC) websites (0 so far)
  • Earn at least $10.00 on MyLot ($1.06 out of $10 so far)
  • Have at least 300 Twitter followers

Goals for This Week

Writing Goals

  • eHow: Write at least 14 articles (2 articles a day) and promote new articles in the appropriate eHow groups, with Xomba, with Redgage, and with networking websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter). Edit at least 14 out of 35 previous articles according to the eBook’s guidelines (2 article edits a day).
  • Associated Content: Work on this website only if you have time.
  • Helium: Work on this website only if you have time.
  • MyLot: Spend at least 3 hours participating in discussions and do 3 tasks.

Paid to Click (PTC) Goals

Last Week’s Accomplishments

  • Last week was a busy week for me in regards to eHow. I managed to write a total of 14 new articles and edit 21 previous articles. This week I’m going to continue editing and focus more on getting my work out there via related forums, Xomba, and Redgage.
  • My Xomblurb bookmarks are going well. So far I made 14 eHow article bookmarks. On top of that, I even made $2.31 from Xomba.
  • I decided to test out Amazon Associates and had actually made $1.27 from the program! Not bad.
  • Surveys are going well and I completed most of my survey goals. I should be able to cash out on GlobalTestMarket and SendEarnings soon, so that’s exciting.
  • I’ve found a few more PTC (Paid to Click) websites that are legitimate (view them in my goals section), so I have a lot of clicking to do. I actually earned more from Clixsense last week than I did the previous week, totaling $1.51 last week (some from referrals). So now I have $15.65 with Clixsense. My Clicksia cash balance so far is $0.82, so I can almost cash out. I’m just about half way to cashing out on LinkGrand as well ($2.74 so far).

Goals and Achievements – November 2, 2009

As you all know, I bought the eBook How to Earn Passive Income on eHow.com: Maximize Your Online Earnings. I’ve read the book through and started editing previous eHow articles and writing new eHow articles according to the book’s guidelines. I noticed a surprising jump in earnings for some of my eHow articles after the second day of writing them! One of my articles has been making 3 bucks a day now instead of a buck a month, for example. Most of my eHow articles, however, still need to be noticed by the search engines, so it may take a few weeks before I notice any earnings from them. I was actually so excited with my earnings, that I started dancing in my chair! Luckily my roommates weren’t around.

Since I didn’t finish editing previous eHow articles, I’m going to focus mainly on eHow again for this week. I’m also going to start writing 2-3 eHow articles a day, as well as promote my articles with Xomba and social networking websites. Wish me luck!

Goals for This Month

  • Have a total of at least 250 eHow articles
  • Earn at least $60.00 on eHow
  • Completely finish editing previous eHow articles according to the eBook’s guidelines
  • Reach my payout for at least 5 Paid to Click (PTC) websites
  • Earn at least $10.00 on MyLot

Goals for This Week

Writing Goals

  • eHow: Write at least 14 articles (2 articles a day) and promote new articles in the appropriate eHow groups, with Xomba, and with networking websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter). Edit at least 21 out of 56 previous articles according to the eBook’s guidelines (3 articles a day).
  • Associated Content: Work on this website only if you have time.
  • Xomba: Promote at least 14 eHow articles (2 articles a day) by writing Xomblurbs.
  • Helium: Work on this website only if you have time.
  • MyLot: Spend at least 2 hours participating in discussions and do 1 task.

Paid to Click (PTC) Goals

Last Week’s Accomplishments

  • I wrote quite a bit for eHow the previous week, totaling with 23 articles. I also edited about 15 previous articles according to the eBook’s guide. For last month (October 2009), I ended up earning $30.64 and should get my payment by November 9th. This amount is probably going to double by the time November is over because of the eBook’s guide.
  • I earned a decent amount from Clixsense the previous week: $1.13 to be exact. I also found a few other PTC (Paid to Click) websites that are noted to be legitimate. These websites can be found in the Goals section of this page. Let’s see how I do with them for this week!

Goals and Achievements – October 26, 2009

Yesterday I bought the ebook How to Earn Passive Income on eHow.com: Maximize Your Online Earnings. It’s actually pretty good. So, I’ve been mainly editing old eHow articles and changing them a bit to go along with the tips in the book. I’ll let you know if my earnings change any. I think they will though, since most of the things in the ebook I didn’t even realize.

I’ve decided that, instead of doing daily reports of my earnings, I’m going to do weekly reports. For this week, I’m only going to focus on writing for eHow. I may write a few articles here and there for other sites, but for now it’s going to be strictly eHow.

Goals for This Week

  • Write 35-40 articles for eHow (5 articles a day).
Also, promote new articles with networking websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter) and comment on articles from other eHow members. Promote new articles in the appropriate eHow groups.
  • Write 1 Associated Content article of any subject if there’s time.
  • Write for Xomba if there’s time.
  • Write for Helium if there’s time.
  • Continue with PTC websites (YouData, Clixsense, Clicksia, Trek Pay, LinkGrand, Neobux, WordLinx, earn.bz, Bux.gs, Hits4Pay, HyBux).
  • Participate in discussions on MyLot for at least 20 minutes and start a new discussion thread.
Also, complete at least 2 tasks.

Yesterday’s Accomplishments

  • I mainly wrote on eHow yesterday and edited/perfected a few articles. I ended up writing 5 new articles and perfecting 5 other articles.
  • I didn’t do much at all for Associated Content, since I was focusing more on eHow.
  • Unfortunately, I was unable to write on Xomba, since I was editing my eHow articles.
  • I spent hardly any time on MyLot at all yesterday. I’ll try to spend more time on MyLot this week.
  • I didn’t spend much time on Clixsense yesterday, so my earnings weren’t that good.

Goals and Achievements – October 25, 2009

It’s definitely a lot more manageable to focus on two writing website rather than four. My plan is to start making good, steady earnings from eHow and Xomba. Then, I’ll focus more on the other two websites.

Even though it’s more manageable, I must admit, I didn’t write much until about 9pm. Because of this, I stayed up until 3am. I’ll try to get more writing done earlier today so I’ll be able to get some sleep tonight.

Goals for Today

  • Write 5-6 articles for eHow.
Also, promote new articles with networking websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter) and comment on at least 10 articles from other eHow members. Promote new articles in the appropriate eHow groups.
  • Write 1 Associated Content article of any subject if you have time.
Also, comment on at least 10 other Associated Content articles and look up tips on how to earn money with Associated Content if you have time.
  • Write 3 Xomba articles (Xombytes) and post 5-6 link articles (Xomblurbs).
Comment on 10 other Xomba articles as well. Like always, promote Xomba articles via Social Networking Websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter).
  • Write 1 Helium article and rate 10 Helium articles if you have time. Comment on 5 other Helium articles.
  • Continue with PTC websites (YouData, Clixsense, Clicksia, Trek Pay, LinkGrand, Neobux, WordLinx, earn.bz, Bux.gs, Hits4Pay, HyBux) and check back for new ads at least 10 times.
  • Participate in discussions on MyLot for at least 20 minutes and start a new discussion thread.
Also, complete at least 2 tasks.

Yesterday’s Accomplishments

  • I completed all of my eHow writing goals for yesterday. The only thing I didn’t do was comment on a forum thread. I’m now at $17.13, which is pretty good. I’ll definitely make the 20 dollar mark by the end of the month.
  • I didn’t do much at all for Associated Content, since I was focusing more on eHow and Xomba.
  • Yesterday, Xomba for me went excellent! I ended up completing all of my Xomba goals. Now I have up a total of 6 Xombytes and 11 Xomblurbs. I still didn’t make anything from Xomba though.
  • I spent hardly any time on MyLot at all, unfortunately. I’ll try to spend more time on MyLot today.
  • I earned 24 cents with Clixsense yesterday. I also already have 143 credits with Trek Pay. So, everything’s been going well.

Goals and Achievements – October 24, 2009

It’s been so hard to keep up with my goals that I think I haven’t been realistic. For now on, I’m going to focus on writing for two websites – eHow and Xomba. I’ll write an article for the other websites occasionally, but for now I’m going to focus on eHow and Xomba until I get a steady stream of cash coming in.

Why eHow and Xomba? Personally, eHow and Xomba are my two favorites, with Helium coming in a close third. Associated Content has higher standards and had rejected two of my articles so far, telling me to fix them up a bit. However, Associated Content accepted two other articles as well. ^_^ Anyway, I feel more comfortable with eHow and Xomba, since they aren’t as complicated as most writing websites, and I get paid per ad click rather than per 1,000 views.

Goals for Today

  • Write 5 articles for eHow.
Also, promote new articles with networking websites (Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter) and comment on at least 10 articles from other eHow members. Participate in at least 1 eHow forum discussions and promote new articles in the appropriate eHow groups.
  • Write 1 Associated Content article of any subject if you have time.
Also, comment on at least 10 other Associated Content articles and look up tips on how to earn money with Associated Content if you have time.
  • Write 3 Xomba articles (Xombytes) and post 5 link articles (Xomblurbs).
Comment on 15 other Xomba articles as well and expand your friend list.
  • Participate in discussions on MyLot for at least 30 minutes and start a new discussion thread.
Also, complete at least 2 tasks.

Yesterday’s Accomplishments

  • I wrote only 1 eHow article yesterday, mostly because I was just so stressed with trying to keep up with class and writing. Now that I’m focusing more on just eHow and Xomba, I can write more articles for them.
  • Another of my Associated Content articles was denied because it was a few words short of the requirement, so I fixed it up a bit and resent the article. I also got an article approved for upfront payment, so I received $2.38 for my article. I’m going to try to write 1 article for Associated Content if I have time, but I’ll do that after I focus on writing for eHow and Xomba.
  • I did alright with Xomba yesterday. I was able to write 2 or 3 Xomblurbs and 2 Xombytes. One of the Xombytes was an entry in the Dream Job contest they have going on. Hopefully I place second or third at least!
  • I didn’t spend much time on MyLot because I was overloaded with work to do. I’ll spend more time today, definitely.
  • I earned 21 cents with Clixsense yesterday. I also already have 115 credits with Trek Pay. Hopefully I’m as successful today.
