An Introduction

Many people have their own opinions about blogging. What should blogging be used for? How should someone go about telling their story? Some people use blogging just as another means of entertainment, while others use blogging to deliver feedback and share their own personal knowledge. Some blog to get themselves out there and increase their personal growth, while others blog to make money and increase their personal wealth.

But, what happens if you blog for all of the above reasons? Does your need to make money conflict with your love for blogging? Should you be criticized because you’ve found a way to make money doing something that you enjoy?

I don’t think so, and yet I have seen freelance writers get the most disgusting remarks simply because they’re making money with their blog and doing something that they love.

You see, some people have it in their heads that blogging is just a hobby and can only be a hobby, nothing more. I’m here to tell you differently, and show you while I’m at it. Does that then make me a bad person? Well, only if you believe everyone in the world who makes the slightest bit of money is bad.

Just like you might paint and sell your own paintings, I blog and I make money off of what I write about. Everyone needs to make a living, and I take pride in making my living off of my writing… and showing you how you can do the same. Yes, in a way blogging for me is like a steady full-time job – But I love this steady full-time job. I love building a community of readers with the same interests, who can express their own opinions, regardless of whether or not these opinions contrast with my own. I love sharing my knowledge and trying to help freelance writers like me out there who are looking to make full-time income online with their writing. I love expressing my views, my concerns, and my achievements. And yes, I love getting paid for it.

However, just because I may be making money off of this blog does not mean I will not make it honestly and with your interests at heart. I’m not a vulture. I’m only a freelance writer making a living from what I know how to do best – to write. That’s what I love to do, and who wouldn’t want to earn money doing what she loves? That’s how it’s supposed to be, and I want to make it happen for you.
