You can also earn money with Chitika ads and Amazon Affiliates.I personally don't use Google Adsense, though I believe that you can put ads on your site right away after creation (I may be wrong though). For your own site, though, I do recommend skipping the ads altogether and instead creating your own infoproducts or making money off of affiliate marketing (it's way more lucrative).
