Update: Demand Studios Plagiarism Flag Removed

I mentioned on my May 28 Demand Studios Work Challenge update that one of my articles (How to Start Up a Business Website & Domains) was flagged for plagiarism. Well, I found out this morning that the flag was removed! I can definitely say that I was relieved.

Here’s the email I received in my Gmail inbox:

Hello Demand Studios Writer,

The staff at Demand Studios has reviewed your article, How to Start Up a Business Website & Domains, and found that it is not in breach of our Contributors Agreement. It has been passed on to our copy editors for editorial review.

If/when the article is approved by our copy editors, a payment will be processed for your work. In the meantime, feel free to accept other available assignments.

Thank you for your patience,

Demand Studios Editorial Staff

Now that I have experience with the whole plagiarism appealing process, I can work for Demand Studios without any worries. I will also remember not to use information from a rewrite for a new article until after I re-submit the rewrite with new information.
